 People love to go to places that have nice weather. That being said, it's easy to see why so many people like to go to Varadero. This is a place that is located in Cuba and is one of the nicest places you can go to. Of course, the area is prone to hurricanes, because it has a hot dry season followed by a hotter wet season. The reason why the weather is so nice is because of where this city is located. After all, Varadero is located in Cuba, and Cuba sits in the Caribbean Sea. Just to the north of Cuba sits the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico. On top of all that the Bahamas are located just to the east!The dry season for Varadero is the winter season. This normally lasts between November to April. Most of the time you will see temperatures around 26 and 29 degrees Celsius. January is the coldest month for Varadero and the temperature really is not that cold. This means that this area is a great place to visit even when you come during the winter. Even during the winter months you are still going to bake in the sun; at least you end up not burning up. They say that it's more just hot and humid during the winter than scorching like during the summer. Overall, people think that the dry season is, by far, the best time to visit Varadero because of the mild temperatures. Not only that, but it has a lot less rainfall as well. Of course, at night it can be a bit cool, so you may need a few extra layers. The wet season is known as summer in Varadero. Here, this lasts from May till October. Of course, you need to be careful when coming during this time. The air grows thick, and the humidity is almost too much to handle. Overall, the summer months are nice, but it's easy to spend your whole vacation inside. Not only because it's cooler inside, but because of all the rainfall that happens in this area. When it rains in Varadero it is as if the heavens have opened up to flood the world. After just a few moments of rain, you will see rivers rolling down the sidewalks. |
